Do you enjoy getting things done and want to make an impact in a fast-growing tech company?
At FotoWare, we challenge the status quo and set ambitious goals for how technology can empower people. Our culture is guided by four core values—Responsible, Passionate, Caring, and Innovative—and they shape how we take ownership, deliver on our promises, and support one another.
We believe the best work happens in an inclusive and diverse environment where everyone is encouraged to bring their best self to work. Our teams are made up of technology enthusiasts who care deeply about our users and about helping each other grow. Trust and empowerment are central to how we lead, giving people the freedom to explore ideas and take initiative.
We are now looking for a German-speaking Professional Services Consultant who is passionate about making a difference in our customers' lives and wants to help them succeed through product innovation and engagement, business-minded and proactive.
About the role:
As a Professional Services Consultant you transform Fotoware’s products and solutions into a seamless, first-class customer experience. As part of a small, agile Professional Services team, you love rolling up your sleeves, collaborating closely, and making a real impact.
With a strong technical foundation, you’re the person who instantly understands the technical implications behind customer needs — and can translate them into clear, structured implementation steps. At the same time, you explain complex technical setups to customers in a simple, friendly, and actionable way. You’re the bridge that makes everything click.
You lead in a responsible and structured way multiple overlapping customer projects in the DACH region, from few days to multiple months in time and budget.
You will work closely with our Key Account Management and Presales Team to evolve our customer base and revenue.
Furthermore, you advise, train, and challenge customers, contribute to Fotoware’s go-to-market strategy, and take true ownership of customer satisfaction. When priorities shift or issues escalate, you know exactly how to navigate them confidently.
You build credible relationships throughout the customer’s organization and ensure users unlock the full value of Fotoware’s solutions. Whether you’re mapping workflows, designing improvements, or troubleshooting intricate software and infrastructure issues — your mix of hands-on mentality and technical depth is what makes the real difference.
You are responsible for transforming Fotoware’s products and solutions into a seamless, high-quality customer experience. As a member of the agile Professional Services team, you proactively collaborate, contribute effectively, and deliver measurable impact.
The workplace could be at our head office in Oslo, Norway, at our office in Baden, close to Zurich in Switzerland, or from a remote office (home) in Germany.
Professionally, you will bring...
Strong technical understanding, ideally with experience in software, SaaS, integrations, APIs, or cloud-based infrastructures
Experience in project management for consulting/services projects (classic and agile methods) — certifications are a plus
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple parallel projects with structure and confidence using work/task management solutions
Proven track record of leading complex IT projects from concept to completion
Familiarity with software development or solution design processes: requirements analysis, conceptualization, documentation
Experience working with complex IT systems and modern SaaS environments
A structured, organized, and customer-focused working style, paired with strong communication skills
A passion for working in a small team where ownership, initiative, and hands-on collaboration matter
Excellent German skills (written & spoken) and business-fluent English
Solid project hygiene: time tracking, expectation management, structured communication
It would be a benefit if you have...
Experience with cloud migration projects
Knowledge of integrations, automation, or API-based workflows
Official project management certifications
As a person you...
