Business Development Manager – Law Enforcement & Defense (DACH Region)

Law enforcement, intelligence and defense are one of our main verticals, and we deliver Digital Evidence Management Solutions (DEMS) to customers in many countries all over the world. We are growing rapidly, and we are expanding our Law Enforcement & Defense team. To strengthen our presence in the DACH region, we are looking for a dynamic, self-driven, and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join us. If you have a strong background in business development, especially in digital evidence or asset management solutions for law enforcement and defense customers, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for someone with a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the law enforcement and defense sectors, primarily in the DACH region.
· Develop and execute strategic business development plans to grow market presence.
· Build and maintain strong connections with key decision-makers and stakeholders in law enforcement and defense.
· Collaborate with internal teams to design solutions that meet the specific needs of law enforcement and defense customers.
· Gain a thorough understanding of the law enforcement landscape in the DACH region to shape tailored offerings.
· Lead tender and RFP processes, negotiate contracts, close deals, and meet or exceed sales goals.
· Partner with Pre-Sales teams to align client needs with our Digital Evidence Management (DEM) solutions and demonstrate their impact.
· Contribute to marketing campaigns, attend industry events, and host webinars to attract and engage high-potential leads.
· Support demand generation by contributing to strategic marketing campaigns, attending industry events, and hosting webinars to attract and engage high-potential leads.
Qualifications
· Minimum bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
· Fluency in German and English as working languages is required.
· Experience working with or for law enforcement and defense—or a solid understanding of the sector and its unique needs.
· Proven track record in business development.
· Understanding of sector-specific procedures and requirements; forensic services or CSI knowledge is a plus.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders.
· Confident in leading the entire sales cycle from outreach to closing.
· Self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
· Collaborative mindset with a positive, goal-oriented approach.
